Oliver Cromwell was a political leader, statesman and soldier. He raised an army that defeated the army of Charles I during the English Civil War. In 1649 he came to rule England as Lord Protector.

The reproduction Oliver Cromwell Shilling is made from lead-free pewter. On the obverse is the bust of Oliver Cromwell and on the reverse is the Crowned shield of the Protectorate.

The coin, held in a clear blister, is supplied on a card that has the image of Oliver Cromwell on the front and the timeline of Cromwell from him entering parliament in 1628 through to 1660 when Charles II is restored to the throne.
