Roundhead Helmet Pencil Topper

The Civil War (1642-48) was fought between the forces of King Charles I and those of the English parliament. The war took place in two parts. The first lasted from 1642-1646, the second from April to November, 1648. It led to the execution of Charles I in 1649 outside Whitehall, London. There were many famous battles during the Civil War including Edghill, Marston Moor, Naseby and Preston.

This Civil War Roundhead helmet is made from lead-free pewter and mounted on top of a black pencil. The pencil is printed with Charles I and Oliver Cromwell's signatures.
