Egyptian Cat 6cm
Quantity:  £7.55

This fine reproduction bronze is of a cat sacred to the Egyptian goddess of love, fertility and joy, Bast or Bastet. The worship of Bast dates from at least 4000 BC, reaching its height around 1500 BC when thousands of pilgrims poured into the temple at Bubastis to take part in the annual festival.

This 6cm Egyptian Cat is made from base white metal that is bronze plated and hand finished to achieve the final patina. It is supplied in a clear box with double-sided colour information card.
