13th Century Tournament Knight

This 13th century knight carries a shield was a cross and a sword with a gilded hilt and a blade made from whalebone which was covered in parchment and silvered. A breast plate and a back plate (Cuirass) of leather was worn along with flat leather shoulder plates called Aillettes. The knight is wearing an early great helm with crest.

This mini 13th century tournament knight measures 2.5cm tall and is supplied on a card with a tournament scene on it. The card is colour and has historical text about the tournaments and each of the figures available.
