The obverse of the George VI farthing shows the portrait of the king, but Britannia was dropped from the reverse for the first time since 1672 and replaced with one of Britain's smallest birds, the Wren. This reverse remained in use for the remainder of the coins existance.

This original George VI farthing is held in a clear blister on a card. The card that has the image of a Union Jack and the Royal coat of arms on the front and historical information on the reverse.
