The Natural History Ruler is 12” long, is made from wood and has measurements in both inches and centimetres on the reverse.

The front of the ruler shows the time that the major groups of animals and plants first appeared on earth from single celled animals all the way through to Man. There is a timeline at the top running from 300 million years ago and there are silhouettes of each animal or plant.
