Tyrannosaurus Rex was one of the largest land carnivores of all time. They lived during the late Cretaceous period, about 65 million to 85 million years ago. An average Tyrannosaurus Rex was about 39 feet (nearly 12 metres) long, about 20 feet (more than 6 metres) tall, abd probably weighed around 7 tons. They existed in most parts of western North America as well as some parts of Asia.
