The Roman Educational Colouring Postcards consist of four A5 size colouring cards and six colouring pencils. They are supplied with a colourful header card, in a clear cellophane bag.

On the front of the cards are the images of The Roman Army, a Roman Bath House, Gladiators in Combat and a Roman Battle against the Celts.

On the reverse of each card there is a themed area of a Roman scroll to write a message, an area with a Roman Emperor bust image to put a stamp and space for an address. At the foot of each postcard are educational notes relating to each card's image.
