Elizabeth I Sword Letter Opener
Quantity:  10.80

This letter opener is based on the Elizabethan rapier sword. The rapier evolved from a cut-and-thrust weapon to a sword designed primarily for thrusting. It had a long thin blade of around 1 metre in length and was characterised by a complex hilt, which was constructed to provide protection for the hand wielding it.

This Elizabethan sword letter opener measures 18cm and has a steel blade with metal handle. It is antique siver plated and is supplied in a clear acetate box and an information card.
