This medal was awarded for operational flying from UK bases over Europe, for a period of two months between 3 September 1939 and 4 June 1944.

This reproduction Air Crew Europe Star medal with France & Germany Clasp is made from 22ct gold plated lead-free pewter. It is supplied on a blue, yellow and light blue ribbon attached to a card with an image of a Handley Page Halifax flying over Germany on the front and historical information on the reverse.
