The
title Archbishop is given to the chief Bishop of a religious province. The
province consists of a number of dioceses (districts). An Archbishop usually
governs a diocese, called an archdiocese. All the other bishops, in the
diocese, regard the archbishop as their superior in religious affairs of the
province. The Archbishop of Canterbury is the head of the Church of England.
The ring is 17mm diameter, expandable and is manufactured in traditional
lead-free pewter. It is supplied with either a red or
blue stone.
The
card has a colour image depicting a stained glass image of St
Thomas on the front and historical information on the back.
