medal is a reproduction mini Defence Medal with uncrowned effigy of George
VI on the obverse and two lions flanking oak sapling crowned on the reverse, the medal is
made from lead-free pewter.
The
card has a black and white image showing the Home Guard training on a
Vickers machine gun on the front and historical information on the back.
