A cameo is an engraved gem with the designs carved so they project from the
surface. Cameos are carved from stones with layers of different colours. The
design is usually cut from the top white or light coloured layer with a
contrasting, darker, bottom layer. Cameos are usually found in rings,
brooches and other types of jewellery. The ring is 17mm diameter, expandable and is manufactured in traditional
lead-free pewter. It is supplied with a blue and white cameo.
The
card has a colour image depicting a Victorian wallpaper and textile design on the front and historical information on the back.
