Dungeons
were built under castles and prisons. These dungeons were pitch black and
filthy with disease. Prisoners were held there and were treated very badly
and from the earliest times torture was used to punish them or to get them
to confess to their crimes. The pendant is 40mm tall, and is manufactured in traditional
lead-free pewter.
The
card has a colour image of a skeleton hanging in a dungeon on the front
and historical information on the back.
