Henry VIII Gem Ring - Gold Plated

Henry VIII Gem Ring - Gold Plated

In Tudor times the most common type of jewellery were rings, brooches, bracelets, necklace and earrings. These were made from gold, silver and bronze. Precious stones were also very fashionable. They included rubies, emeralds, pearls and sapphires. These stones were set in heavy pendants, rings and on chains worn around the neck. The ring is 17mm diameter, expandable and is manufactured in traditional lead-free pewter and gold plated. It is supplied with either a red, green or blue stone.

The card has a colour image depicting a portrait of Henry VIII on the front and historical information on the back.
