This
4cm tall
13th century knight carries a shield with a cross and a sword with a gilded
hilt and a blade made from whalebone which was covered in parchment and
silvered. A breast plate and back plate (Cuirass) of leather was worn along
with flat leather shoulder plates called Aillettes. The knight is
made from lead-free pewter.
The
full colour card is folded with polythene
bag containing figure secured to it. The card has pictures of a joust on the
front and pictures of all four tournament knight figures together with
historical information on the back.
