Elizabeth I Gem Pendant - Gold Plated

Elizabeth I Gem Pendant - Gold Plated

In Tudor times the most common types of jewellery were rings, brooches, bracelets, necklace and earrings. Precious stones were also very fashionable. They included rubies, emeralds, pearls and sapphires. These stones were set in heavy pendants, rings and on chains worn around the neck. The pendant is 25mm tall and is manufactured in traditional lead-free pewter and gold plated. The pendant is supplied with either a red or light blue stone. Supplied on a gold plated chain.

The card has a colour image depicting a portrait of Elizabeth I from Penshurst Place, Kent on the front and historical information on the back.
