This
5.5cm tall figure is of a Gladiator. Most
gladiators were prisoners of war, slaves, or criminals condemned to fight in
these contests. However some freemen fought for money and fame including
Senators and even women. Successful gladiators became famous in Rome. This figure is made of lead free pewter.
The
clear PVC box has a card insert that is red and is printed in
black, it shows historical information.
