This
5cm tall figure is of Henry
VIII became King of England in 1509. During the period 1511-1529 he pursued
an active foreign policy under the guidance of Thomas, later Cardinal,
Wolsey. Henry was the first English monarch to have a navy and
founded the Royal Armouries, at the Tower of London, 1515. In 1534 Henry
separated the Church of England from the Roman Catholic Church and
established the reformation in England. This figure is made of
lead free pewter.
The
card is red, white and black and has pictures of all three Famous Tudor figures together with historical information
on the back.
