This
6cm tall signifer was below the Centurion in rank and bore the standard for the
century. The signifer also worked as banker for his unit. Note the small,
round shield; pteruges - armour plates in kilt and upper arms; and the groin
guard or "sporran". This figure is made of lead free pewter.
The box design
shows a number of historical artefacts including swords, spears and a number
