The
writing quill pen came into use in the seventh century. It was the main
writing instrument until the introduction of metallic pens and pen nibs that
took over in the 1800's.
These
ostrich pen quills are supplied in 1 of 6 colours. Each quill measures between
approximately 30 and 35cm in length. The bottom of the quill is wrapped with
a coloured ribbon and the pen is of a ball point (biro) type.
