Flying
Reptiles were called Pterosaurs and were the first ever flying
vertebrates (animals with a backbone). Their wings were a thin membrane of
elastic fibres and muscle covered with skin and they were carnivores eating
fish, insects and small animals. The pendant is 44mm long and is manufactured in traditional
lead-free pewter. Supplied with wax cord.
The
card has a colour image depicting a Pterodactyl fossil on the front and historical information on the back.
