Reproduction
of a design of Roman spoon used in Britain in the second century A.D. and
characterised by its elegant 'Goose Neck' and pointed handle. The latter had
the practical purpose of extracting meat from bones and crustaceans. The spoon is
105mm long and is manufactured
from a brass stem and bowl that is then silver plated.
The
box has a cardboard base in a grey marble effect with aqua text. The insert is grey with the historical information on an white
label. The lid is clear PVC.
