This
pack contains a Armorican Stater with a head on
the obverse and horse with boar below, remains of driver with victory above
on the reverse. The coin
is made from lead free pewter.
The
Celts, a warlike people, were divided into various tribes. The earliest
invading tribe, the Gaels, settled in the western and northern areas of the
island of Great Britain. The second wave of Celtic invaders, the Britons,
occupied most of what is now England and Wales.
The
card has a full colour image showing warriors attacking Romans from the back
of chariots on the front and historical information on the back.
