Saxon Coin Pendant - Harold II

Harold II succeeded Edward the confessor in 1066 and was the last Anglo-Saxon king of England. William of Normandy invaded England to fight for the throne. Harold was defeated and killed at the Battle of Hastings, by William's Army, in 1066. The coin is 19mm in diameter and is manufactured in traditional lead-free pewter. Supplied on a silver coloured chain.

 

The card has a colour image from the Bayeux tapestry on the front and historical information on the back.
