The Scarab was a powerful amulet
signifying regeneration and was used a great deal by the Egyptians in their
jewellery. It was often inscribed with further amuletic signs to protect the
wearer. The ring is 16mm diameter, expandable and is manufactured in traditional
lead-free pewter and gold plated.
The
card has a colour image from the tomb of Tutankhamen on the front and historical information on the back.
