Torcs were worn around the neck,
the upper arm or the wrist in Roman times. This torc is the Roman equivalent
of our modern bangle. The bracelet is 56mm in
diameter across and is manufactured from ferrous material
that is silver plated.
The
card has a colour image depicting the mosaic of Actaeon, a figure from Greek
mythology on the front and historical information on the back.
