There were
more than 10,000 different species of trilobites and all of them
lived in the sea. Some crawled along the sea-bed while others floated or
swam through the water. The name trilobite is given to these
creatures because their exoskeletons are divided into three distinct parts
or lobes. The ring has a trilobite on top and is 16mm diameter, expandable and is manufactured in traditional
lead-free pewter.
The
card has a colour image depicting fossilised trilobites on the front and historical information on the back.
