The
Grey Squirrel was introduced to Great Britain in the mid-19th century after
many releases it began to increase dramatically in numbers. It is diurnal
and most active during dawn and dusk, searching for available food. Its diet
comprises of hazelnuts, acorns, beech mast, tree bark, flowers, bird's eggs
and young.
The
squirrel attachment is 32mm wide and is manufactured from traditional lead-free
pewter. It is supplied on a silver coloured key-chain.
