A snake is an animal with a
long, legless body covered by dry scales. There are about 2,700 species of
snake. They live almost anywhere on earth. The live in deserts, forests,
oceans, streams and lakes. Some snakes are poisonous and inject venom into
their prey to kill them. Others can grow up to 9 metres in length and crush
their prey to death. Snakes belong to a group of animals called reptiles. The pendant is
40mm tall and is manufactured in traditional
lead-free pewter. Supplied with wax cord.
The
card has a colour image depicting a deadly cobra about to strike on the front and
educational information on the back.
