Wales

Wales is famed for its castles - Harlech, Caernarfon, Conway - built by Edward I to overawe the Welsh. Other stories of the past reside in the Roman remains at Caerleon, abbeys at Tintern and Valle Crucis, and country houses such a Tintern and Bodrhyddan Hall.
