Product History

The Roman Cavalry were the highly mobile shock forces of the army who were trained to cover up to 50 miles per day and fight.

Cavalry regiments frequently indulged in games where they would display their equestrian and combat skills. Large quantities of highly ornate equipment were manufactured for these events and for the parade ground. Our cavalryman is wearing his parade ground uniform which includes face masks for both him and his horse, an oval shield and a standard.
