Northumbrian Thegn 8-9th Century

Product History

Northumbrian Thegn 8-9th Century

This Anglo-Saxon warrior was representative of the upper classes of the time. He wears a helmet similar to that found at Coppergate, York and is armed with a scramasax (short-sword) and has mail as armour for the upper body. This style of helm was soon to be superseded by Viking styles.

Also available singly in a polythene bag.
