 Triceratops Pendant

Plant eating dinosaurs had to eat large amounts of plants every day to survive. Some had teeth made for chopping, raking or crushing and others had sharp beaks for snipping twigs and leaves.

Triceratops was a herbivore that probably ate cycads, palms and other low-lying plants. It walked on four legs and had three horns on its face along with a large bony plate projecting from the back of its skull. Triceratops hatched from eggs and grew to about 9 metres long, 3 metres tall and weighed up to 6-12 tons.
